Discover the true charactor of the George Coleman Ford dealership!!!!
We are a simple Christian family living in Asheboro, NC. My wife and I have been married for 26 years and we have had the great privilege of raising two wonderful children. Our oldest is now 21 and her name is Kayleigh and the youngest is Noah. He is just 17.
We have been blessed in so many ways it is almost impossible to count. But one of our greatest blessings as a family was that God allowed us to travel and play music at churches, nursing homes, etc. This allowed us so many opportunities and was such a blessing. You can watch us on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8F9FBD97DD841137).
Although the family does not play as a band anymore, our son Noah cannot sit it down. He loves playing bluegrass gospel music. He has really worked hard at this craft and it has paid off. He is now a recording artist with Mountain Fever Records’ Gospel label Moring Glory. We are crazy proud of him.
Noah also has another passion. Football!! He is the starting quarterback at his high school Southwestern Randolph where he is now a senior. Noah, being an old soul, wanted an old truck as his first vehicle, so he found and purchased a 1998 Chevy Silverado. Noah drove this truck everywhere. The only problem was that this truck had close to 300k on it and it was nickel and diming him to death. Not to mention the gas mileage he was getting. This was really starting to be a bigger issue because Noah was traveling to gigs that were hours away.
Knowing that the 1998 Chevrolet was becoming unreliable, we started the search for a new truck. After looking at a bunch of F-150’s, Noah found a truck for sale in Traveler’s Rest. I was not exactly excited because the truck was 3 hours away, but we called about the truck. The sales lady was very friendly and easy to work with. She really built our confidence up in the truck even stating that the truck had been placed under a 139 point Ford Blue Advantage Certification (will post the certification in the comments). The sales lady stated that she was so certain about the reliability in the truck that they would include a 4 month/4,000-mile warranty. She also stated that they would deliver!!
So like idiots . . . we purchased the truck, sight-unseen. This was a HUGE mistake. After driving the truck for about 4-5 weeks, we realized that the cam phasers needed to be replaced. So, the truck stayed at the local Ford dealership for ~4 weeks altogether. This is when we realize how big of a mistake that we had made. The under-carriage, especially the transmission and transfer-case was covered in CONCRETE!!!
